Was originally set to put Outlaw I's on the Camaro but am thinking that Outlaw II's probably promote slightly better brake cooling (maybe ?) and are possibly fractionally lighter (holes).

Dunno. Both are the same price, both are in the sizes I want and with the same offsets . . . .
I think my gut still prefers the plainness of the Outlaw I's . . . (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)
What ya think ?
Outlaws I's ...but then I would say that (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/wink.gif)
i'd say outlaw 2's as they not a solid slab of shiny wheel against the matt black, they have breaks (the holes) and i think it'd look better that way....
be interesting to try and do a photochop of a side pic of the maro and put the wheels on it to see what it'd look like
I think Outlaw II, OL I look good, but I don't think they will allow your brakes to cool quickly, especially in the summer. (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/chiny.gif)
I'd say Outlaw 2's. One of the issues with the ol1's is when they lose the shine they don't look as good (I do miss this car though (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/wink.gif)) :
1's will be easier to keep clean as you brake dust won't seep through, but I think I prefer the 2's...
PhilO had Chromed II's on his Camaro didn't he?
I'd go with II's but Lacquered not chromed. Steve makes a good point, but they are fairly easy wheels to clean at the end of the day as they're not too intricate.
Also any cooling help you can give stock brakes on a 3rd gen is a bonus, no matter how small.
If it it has to been Outlaws No.2 looks better.
Do you really want something that shiney with a matt black car (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/chiny.gif)

They both look really good, prefer the first one as they kinda look like Centerlines, but then like the way the 2nd ones look on the rear.
What if you went with Outlaw 1's on the front and Outlaw 2's on the rear? (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

No, they're not. They look more like A.R.E Antracite's.
Rare and more than two-and-a-half times the price at £250 per wheel.
Or possibly Rocket's . . ?

Maybe on your Camaro, Martyn, but not mine.

No, you can't get those one's in chrome.
As Titsy said - there polished rims with a fine-cut (like a record) face.

Still the I's, they just look the nuts.

Is indeed, AMVO stand that got me a 'strongly worded email' from a former president of the AACI when I posted the photos on their forum.
I think there are a few cars from the club on there.

1972 with a 318ci
I was looking back at all the work I put into that Duster ... I'd kill to have that level of free time now.
I'm still proud of the work I did on that car .... and the tin worm was no surprise. All Mopars suffer in the same places .... I remember screwing the inner and outer rear quarters together with screws and nuts before fibre glassing it up as it had to be done on a budget.
Happy days.
Rattle can 4 teh win !!!11

Is there a build thread around for that anywhere?
I don't think so - I think it was a bit before the MKB became independent so we were limited by the AACI.
There are a few pictures on the gallery - not all but a selection.
It was a cool car. But I would say that. (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

Indeed, just finding an hour to turn the Mustang over (not literally(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/tongue.gif) ) once a week is a challenge let alone a project like that.

I did start a Geocities(?) website many years ago (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/chiny.gif)
I reckon you should post up a "post-build" build thread.
I regret not having the shell off you, now. But it was probably the right choice.

http://www.mkb.cc/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=32 Well pics anyway, the order's looks a bit jumbled though.
Hahaha, I remember all the "deletes" now . . . . Delete door handles, delete door locks, delete truck lock, delete fuel filler, delete front and rear side markers, delete badges . . . . .
Adding the scoops was my single favourite bit. (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/up.gif)

I guess its a certain look you are after but the Outlaw style wheel is probably my least favourite of all styles, except maybe white 8 spoke Wellers, lol. I think it looks/will look better with the Torq Thrusts. IMO
If you do buy the Outlaws or anything else for that matter i am still interested in the TTs
Outlaw I ..... For sure.....
And the winner was . . . . . .
The Outlaw II's just looked a little too busy for me . . . .
Note also the new black alloy wheel nuts (should be rust proof) - I think they add a little something to the whole look.

See, white lettering does look cool on post 1970's cars (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/tongue.gif)
In all seriousness, looks flipping great! Really nice finish, wheels suit it.
Are they protected with a surface treatment or will you have to keep them polished?
Very, very nice. Amazing work and skill RK (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/party.gif)
I think the white-letters look perfect on that setup. (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/cowboy.gif)
So is it all done now minus the door-cards? (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/huh.gif)
@cp - almost the list of things i can think of are:
door cards
steering
exhaust (supports / bracketry)
then the snagging ;)
Yeah, basically what Ian said.
I still don't agree that post 70's cars work with white lettered tyres.
I personally think they work on mine but wouldn't necessarily on a standard third gen.
