how about making the list of recent posts ,
just show the last post in the thread,
rather that every post thats been made...?

hmm can't see anything to do Topics not posts....
there are a couple of mods, but they don't seem to work with the newer version of SMF that we're running!
will keep a check on this but nothing really suits what we're after at teh mo that i can see...
