I've tried several bought CD's , a recorded one and a MP3 one , just keeps coming up with format error ?
Do the Jap's use a different format to us ??

The whole speaker system is crap ( all 8 of them ) so it's not worth spending a lot of money on a replacement.
Aldi had an MP3 jobby the other week for £35 , ArDos start at £75 :shame:
speakers in GMC's are 6x9's so you can purchace decent replacements very easily.
also, are you sure the sound isn't due to the cd player itself? GM use delco speakers, normaly pretty good for factory fit stuff..
Radio's fine but if you turn the volume up to a half decent level it distorts like crazy , just as bad in the back as front (http://www.aaci-beds.co.uk/forum/smileys/sad.gif)

Normally the distortion is the head unit not having enough power to drive all the speakers and not the speakers mate

Took the kids about 10 minutes to figure out what all the buttons do !
