Okkies . . . The only problem I see is that it's a bit Anti social for our other visitors (eg. for Northampton).

Just a suggestion (baring in mind the meets will be changing back to evenings, i'm guessing, soon) but could we not start the meet at, say 2.00pm.
All of "us" could get there for 1.00pm to eat and discuss any MKB stuff out of the way before "guests" arrive ???

On our homepage it does say 'Feel free to arrive early for lunch', so I guess we should be doing that ourselves.

In general, if we were eating, we would look to get there for 12:30 ish. Maybe we should advertise it as a 2-tier meet - 12:30-1 for lunch, with main meet starting at 1:30-2.
