i had some like that on my r/hood, the alternator WILL start to melt soon,i wrapped em in the end,and dropped the alt..(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/wink.gif)
Its a good 1.5" away from the Alt. And the Clutch cable... Which rubbed on the old manifold(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/shame.gif)
Yet again Ive massivly undercharged for the Job....(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/rolleyes.gif)
I want a set of headers made for the '58 eventually . . . If I supplied you with the stock manifolds - could you mimick them or would you need the car, itself, as well ?
Roadkill mate....
If you can buy them off the shelf DO SO(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/up.gif) it will be cheaper than me making them..(http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/wink.gif)
Best thing to do if you do want to make them.... I'll get the Flange's Plasma Cut on me new CNC plasma Machine and then I can supply you with a bag of bends for you to weld up.
It does have to be done on the car!!! to keep everything straight!!!
