From a punters point of view i can see that being a big selling point - from from the managing agents point of view it will be a nightmare; it will break down regularly, users will over load it, there will be rows about usage, there is always some dumbass who won't read the instructions.
Perfect example - in the hub; new tenant moving in bak in October (not one of mine I hasten to add) thought it would be quicker if he loaded all of his belongings into the lift in one go, no consideration for other users who had to use the stairs. Lift jammed between floors, took 8 hours to get it freed then he wanted to do it again once the lift was 'repaired'!
I hate lifts - they're a pita
Do you have places in the hub then Ray? what are the parking arrangements like for those places? is it underground?
what are the prices like? as i'd looked at those or the ones above sainsburys as a possible place to move out too.
BTW Cool Garage idea (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/cool.gif)
Haven't got anything in there empty at the moment. 1 beds fetch around 675-700pcm, 2 beds from 750 plus. but they could be coming down in the future. Parking is all underground
The vision complex above sainsburys is ok but I'm told that about 40-45% is let out to low income families/benefit claimants via a couple of housing associations. They're not much bigger than the Hub, some are even smaller.
Council tax is high in both complexes, even the 1 beds can be band b, some of the 2 beds are in band d, same as my 4 bed!!
wtf is "the hub" sounds very sci fi (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/dontknow.gif) (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/confused.gif)
its where all the roud-abouts in milton keynes take you, regardless of if you wanted to go there or not !!!

A friend of mine just bought a place there (Hungarian Amazonian (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/jiggle.gif))
Seems happy with it, says there is a garden on the roof..or something (http://mkb-cc.yanksrule.co.uk//Forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)
My sister-in-law and bother-in-law have a flat there. Tis nice, if not a little hot. There is a garden on the low roof (just above the restaurants) between towers.

Thats right, landscaped gardens on the roof over the carpark - it does look nice
