Well actually 3 words

You forgot the most important word "Lidl"

If your too pikey to shop at Aldi, you go to Lidl's

NB: As your probably aware both shops are owned by two German brothers who fell out with each other. They often stock the same of very similar items, however our Lidl's is too "ethnic" for me, don't even know what most of the fresh foods are

IMHO
actually M/H is a pleasant quaint middle class market town
which hasn't been blighted with migrants...

Big Mouse

I used to spurn Lidl as a scummy shop until I was forced to go there one day  -some of their stuff is really good quality at ridiculously low prices

Did it close at 20:00?

Generally we do around half our weekly shop in Aldi then pop across the road to Tesco for whatever we can't get in Aldi...and Costco every 6weeks ish for meat and treats
