Can it really be five years since the Crossfire hit the streets
May be hit the streets is the wrong phrase because sales have dwindled and production of the Crossfire is likely to end sometime this summer, due in part by the model's slow sales, as well as the production contract with Karmann ending after a five-year term.

Finaly they are stopping production.

This IMO has to be one of the worst looking cars out on the road at the moment. I would even place it below most people carriers (mini busses), 4x4's and even the VW golf.

I would even put the FIAT Multipla sp? above this car and that was gol dam ugly.

my parents looked at these, but chose a merc slk instead......I think they chose right, the Crossfire was never going to be able to hold out.

The front looks ok, its the back end that just doesn't look quite right...

This is a shame.

I think they're great.
The bonnet is absolutely lovely, although the rear does look awkward (and makes the vert a much better buy).

I think it needed a bit more marketing to make it fashionable.

Nice motor - but after sitting in one not sure I'd want one very low down and the visability out of the back window is non existant the wing mirrors arn't much better - but for straight lines like drag racing well now that could be fun
