You did it wrong then didn't you.

You should follow the manufacturers instructions to the letter - then a day before your mates come around to taste it and compare their efforts against yours, you empty all the discoloured offensive smelling shite away that you've wasted several weeks on and top up the bottles with cheap Yorkshire bitter (you don't want it tasting too professional) from the supermarket.

20 years on some of my mates still think it was the best homebrew they ever tasted

surprising.
i did,nt think you was much of a drinker art.

art b

ya right dave... im not a big drinker 5'8".....
i dont really drink that much.....

i dont mind a couple of premium lagers or a tasty scrumpy cider, and a glass of wine,

i used to have a go at brewing a few years ago [not very sucessfully]
and got back into it  recently with a few bods from the northants car meet,
tbh...the whole procces is quite interesting,
and with the number of resources now available on the tinternet, it seems to be easier to produce a decent brew...time will tell,

we also have 4 adults in the house who sit down for dinner and nearly always have a bottle of wine between us,[which isnt much] so its ideal to have an interestin supply of drinks,
and its as cheap as chips...

which arnt really that cheap....
