Thought it was bad enough having to get to work for 05:30am this morning with all the roads covered on snow.

But having just driven back from the gym I'd like to thank Luton Borough Council for not even bothering to grit even the main roads

The A505 was just a solid sheet of ice and when I stopped at the traffic lights I was very nearly rear ended by a slow moving car that couldn't stop

I'd rather be in Florida

I'd rather be in Florida without the dodgy helmet

Well its ruined my weekend plans, but been rescheduled for two weeks time, which isn't promising for all this to have shifted and it being warm.

True but in my defence we ran out of snow hence the weird shape

Almost! Though we're in Prague so a few degrees colder than you guys plus a wind chill factor that could cut through 10" steel.

Igloo is hanging in there

Dam I never thought 3c would feel so warm

Looks like your 'lawn' could do with a cut though...

Seriously putting down Astro Turf was the best gardening decision I've made in my life

No maintenance what so ever, you can stamp around on it, shovel snow on it and it's always clean and dry

Roadkill

Kinda reminds me of a butcher's window display . . . .

Apart from being a bit cold, today was a great day!

Got the car out and ran a few pre-drive checks, oil needed topping up, in my haste I managed to drop some right between the rocker cover and heat shield for the exhaust manifold. So I consulted the internet for whether it would be safe to let it burn off (apparently so) and proceeded to watch my engine bay smoke for about 20 mins.

Gave the car a good clean and then polish. Then I found the perfect excuse for another drive, my mate (2 years younger than me) had just picked up the keys to his new car...
