Admin HELP please ?

When ever I try to use the forum Youtube button it doesn't work

Using the standard Youtube "share" link pasted into the forum Youtube link I get :  

[youtube=http://youtu.be/S1HX8Iq-56s]

Where as it should be with [ ] to make it work

youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1HX8Iq-56s

With the brackets [ ] you get this :



Therefore with my limited knowledge and computer skills, surely the forum Youtube button should default to :

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=]

Where you can just paste the end of the video number in after the = ?????????

I just paste the URL of the youtube page in the youtube popup box..

That didn't use to work, you used to have to copy the long link, but it works OK now thank you

That may not have worked before for several reasons. Sometimes it might be from that cheeky little 's' after the http, but yeah, agree, can we get the ewetube button to default so you only need to put the video ID in?

TBH, modifying the button isn't an easy thing AFAIK, so i'm gunna leave as is

Works fine tbh, the only slight annoyance I have with this forum is how much of a pain in bum posting up pictures is..  Was there a reason why we couldn't add the file upload to all sections?  Storage maybe? I can't recall..

At the moment AFAIK, only the Official MKB News and Announcements and the Naughty Zone sections have it.

I want to be able to upload straight from my phone dammit!!!
