It's a warehouse (Lieberherr) off North Crawley Rd in Newport Pagnell.
Fire Service telling Heart 10 fire engines called in.

Reminds me of the fire at Electrolux in Wolverton in . . . . err . . . 1999 ?

There was no wind that day so the column of black smoke rose perfectly vertical.
I lived close-by and remember how quiet it got . . . Almost as if it was acting as a huge sound insulator . . . (I was outside painting the timber cladding on the entrance balcony) . . . My jaw proper dropped when I turned and saw it.

Liebherr do refrigeration stuff so there's a good chance that there's ammonia mixed in with all the nasty black smoke !

It does say it is a Fridge warehouse, so no wonder the smoke is so black

Thankfully says that no-one is believed to be injured

word got round about this at work today, don't try to drive anywhere near Newport until later this evening as they've closed the A509 going up to Chicheley Roundabout (The Newport bypass) now everyone has to go the old way through the middle of Newport so it'll be gridlocked.
